Here’s a simple and tasty chicken salad recipe for you:

Classic Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, for a fresh zing)
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickles or relish (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves or bread for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, mayonnaise, lemon juice, celery, onion, and pickles if using.
  2. Mix everything well until fully combined.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to your taste.
  4. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
  5. Serve on a bed of lettuce or as a sandwich filling with your favorite bread.
