Cheddar cheese rolls are soft, golden bread rolls filled with melty cheddar cheese. They’re fluffy on the inside with a slightly crispy crust—perfect for dinner sides, snacks, or sandwiches.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Activate Yeast

  • Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast
  • Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy

2. Make Dough

  • Add flour, salt, and butter
  • Knead until smooth and soft (8–10 minutes)

3. First Rise

  • Cover and let dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled

4. Shape Rolls

  • Divide dough into equal pieces
  • Flatten slightly and add cheese in center
  • Seal and shape into balls

5. Second Rise

  • Place on tray and let rise 30–40 minutes

6. Bake

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  • Brush with egg wash or butter
  • Bake 18–22 minutes until golden
