This 5-minute cake is a soft, fluffy, single-serve dessert you can make in a mug using a microwave. It’s perfect for instant cravings—no oven, no mixer, no waiting.

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder (optional for chocolate flavor)
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1: Mix Dry Ingredients

In a mug, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients

Add milk, oil (or butter), and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and lump-free.

Step 3: Microwave

Cook in microwave for 60–90 seconds (depending on power). The cake should rise and look set.

Step 4: Cool & Serve

Let it cool for 1 minute, then enjoy directly from the mug.
