- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

1. Cream Butter & Sugar
- In a bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy
2. Add Wet Ingredients
- Mix in eggs one at a time
- Add vanilla extract and beat well
3. Mix Dry Ingredients
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
4. Combine
- Gradually add dry ingredients into wet mixture
- Fold in chocolate chips
5. Chill the Dough (Important!)
- Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes for thicker cookies
6. Bake
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Scoop dough onto a baking tray
- Bake for 10–12 minutes
