🥣 Ingredients

🍑 Peach Filling

  • 4 cups sliced peaches (fresh or canned)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional for thickening)

🧈 Batter / Crust

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

📝 Ingredient Notes

  • Fresh peaches give the best flavor, but canned work well

  • Cook lightly in a pan for 5 minutes (optional for softer filling)

2. Make Batter

  • Add milk and vanilla, stir until smooth

3. Assemble Cobbler

  • Pour melted butter into baking dish
  • Pour batter over butter (do NOT stir)
  • Spoon peach mixture evenly on top

4. Bake

  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40–45 minutes
  • Top should be golden and slightly crispy
