Butter Toffe Prettzels

These butter toffee pretzels are the ultimate snack—crispy pretzels coated in a rich, buttery toffee glaze with the perfect balance of sweet and salty.


📝 Ingredients

  • 8 cups mini pretzels
  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup corn syrup
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp baking soda

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1. Preheat Oven

  • Preheat to 120°C (250°F)
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper

2. Prepare Pretzels

  • Place pretzels in a large mixing bowl

3. Make Toffee Sauce

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat
  • Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt
  • Stir constantly until mixture begins to boil
  • Let it boil for 3–4 minutes without stirring

4. Add Vanilla & Baking Soda

  • Remove from heat
  • Stir in vanilla and baking soda (it will foam up—this is normal)

5. Coat the Pretzels

  • Pour the hot toffee mixture over pretzels
  • Toss quickly to coat evenly

6. Bake Slowly

  • Spread onto baking tray
  • Bake for 45–60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes

7. Cool & Break Apart

  • Let cool completely
  • Break into clusters and enjoy
