Wait… What Is This Gap For? 🥴
I’m tired of learning stuff I feel like I should already know.
You know those moments when you discover some completely ordinary feature in your car and suddenly realize you’ve been using it wrong for years?
Yep. This is one of those.
See those two little raised pieces in the middle of the cup holder? 👇
They’re not random. They’re there to help hold smaller cups, bottles, and cans securely in place.
The springy/adjustable design lets the cup holder accommodate different-sized drinks instead of leaving a smaller cup rattling around—or tipping over every time you take a corner.
And suddenly that weird-looking “gap” makes sense.
Which leads me to an important question:
How many other things do we use every single day without actually knowing what they’re designed to do? 😂
Because apparently, owning a car doesn’t automatically come with a secret handbook called “All The Obvious Stuff You Somehow Missed.”
So if you’ve been wondering what those little pieces are for…
Now you know. ☕🚗
And if you already knew?
Please don’t tell me. I’m trying to preserve what little dignity I have left. 😂
